Paradise City Dance & Wellness is seeking kind, dependable, and joyful individuals to join our team as Childcare Workers for our Monday Mother's Day Out and Friday Night childcare programs.

Schedule

• Mondays | 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM (arrive by 9:15 AM / stay until 12:45 PM)

• Fridays | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM (arrive by 5:15 PM / stay until 8:45 PM)

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and engage with children ages 2–12 in free play and creative activities

• Assist with simple crafts, coloring, movement games, and quiet time

• Help serve snacks (Mondays) and dinner (Fridays)

• Ensure a safe and joyful environment where children feel seen, loved, and cared for

• Participate in light cleanup and child handoff at pickup time

• Support calm transition activities toward end-of-session for smooth parent pickups

• Someone dependable, timely, and flexible with a team mindset

• CPR certification is a plus (but not required — training available)

Our Mission

Paradise City Dance & Wellness is a Christ-centered studio where art becomes worship and families are supported through creative movement, faith-filled mentorship, and community care. Our Mother's Day Out program exists to provide affordable childcare for families who may not want full-time daycare but deeply value a safe, engaging space for their children.

Compensation

• $16-20/hour

About Us:

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our ministry-driven team as Christian Dance Teachers. This position goes beyond traditional dance instruction; it's an opportunity to impact lives, nurture artistic expression, and create an environment rooted in faith and community. No previous dance teaching experience required...your dance experience from childhood or drive later in life will carry-over in most situations. Qualifications:

- Passion for dance and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

- Experience in dance, whether professional or personal, is valued.

- Strong commitment to Christian values and the ability to share these values with students.

- Comfortable teaching various dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary, etc. If you're skilled in one area over another, that's fine too, just include it in your application letter.

Responsibilities:

- Teach 1-4 classes per week, depending on personal preference.

- Attend quarterly teacher trainings and the annual Dance Revolution event.

- Prepare and lead dynamic classes based on provided outlines, adding personal flair.

- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and studio management.

- Conduct skills and growth assessments, providing progress reports to parents.

- Choreograph routines for recitals

- If teaching CORE classes, choreograph reoutines for community performances

- Lead prayer time and thankful circles at the end of each class.

- Uphold a modest dress code, modeling poise and respect for students.

- Play only Christian, dance instructional, and instrumental music in class.

Compensation:

- Starting at $16/class, increasing to $45/class based on studio and personal class growth.

- Two-month initial contract, with the opportunity to extend to 3, 6, or 12 months.

- Teachers must be present at recital (May 3 or 10, 2025) and be available to teach one summer camp session.

- Continued opportunities for growth and involvement in studio activities.

We are looking for a passionate and faith-filled Homeschool Co-Op Teacher to join our team at Paradise City Dance & Wellness for our Fall 2025 Homeschool Co-Op Program!

This teacher will lead students one day a week in Biblical History (pre-approved by the Studio CEO & Director) and one additional fine arts subject, such as:

🎨 Visual Arts – Sculpture, painting, drawing
🎭 Creative Arts – Poetry, handwriting, creative writing, musical theater
🩰 Dance History – Christian-based history of ballet (curriculum provided)

This teacher will work closely with our Homeschool Dance Instructor, they will leade 3 dance sessions, the Homeschool Co-Op Teacher will lead 2 teaching sessions. They will be responsible for co-designing their semester curriculum with studio CEO, ensuring student progress, and maintaining a Christ-centered classroom atmosphere.
